Tyler Whitcomb

Lead Teaching Pastor

Tyler was born and raised in Warren, MI. Raised in a Christian home, he grew up in the church, as well as a Christian School. He heard the Roman’s Road when he was nine years old and entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ. When he was 16 years old, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, which would greatly shape and direct the trajectory of where his life was heading. Upon graduating high school, he began pursuing a career in law enforcement. During that time, he started having health complications associated with his Crohn’s Disease and had to undergo emergency surgery in early 2014. In that time, God began to solidify a calling on his life for pastoral ministry. Click here to read Tyler's full bio!

Wilson Shaner

Worship Pastor

Wilson was born and raised in Saginaw, MI. As early as middle school, worship music was a big part of his life. Growing up in the church, Wilson joined his youth group’s worship team on drums when he was in 6th grade. He continued to serve in that capacity through high school, switching to acoustic guitar and vocals partway through. In college at MSU, Wilson joined CRU, an on-campus student-led ministry, and was able to continue his journey of growing in Christ and leading worship. Over the last six years post-college, Wilson has worked for the Ford Motor Company in the Metro Detroit area and has attended and served at Woodside Bible Church in Troy. For the last 16 years, God has consistently provided Wilson with opportunities to grow in his faith and lead worship wherever he has gone.
